my my…

and another day went by, nearly unnoticed except for the fact that my cold gets worse in the evening (it is then that I notice a day went by). Also I completely forgot about the national holiday and went shopping. After the second closed shop I started to wonder whether it’s Sunday already, and then I remembered. Fortunately I don’t have to starve until Monday.

Today was a veery lazy day; I slept, ate cookies, contributed to my Asus post and just now I found a nice how to for creating video screenshots of Linux desktops: I went with recordmydesktop (because it’s tiny, and provided by Gentoo).

  1. Lazy day – here too *liftshand*

Sometimes days are just not as important as they think they are – that’s when they’re most relaxing. :)

  2. I wasn’t aware that they even COULD think. Now what do some days think they are (especially Mondays)?

  3. Mondays generally do not have much time to think about things other than what the people would do to them if they are found whilst hiding in abandoned farms high up in the mountains.
Also, they find themselves in a constant state of envy against their more popular brother and sister Saturday and Sunday, both wallowing in thoughts of philosophy, beauty, and predominantly, narcism.

Love the idea of days, thinking. Could we make this into a musical?

  4. Musical, hmmm… well what about Tuesday to Sunday forming a gang, with Saturday and Sunday being the leaders of the pack (Saturday being a pretty blonde and Sunday the illegitimate thewy offspring of Danny Zucko). Nobody knows that Tuesday is the Phantom of the cabaret on his days off, wearing a mask and dragging innocent scantily-clad women off to musty dungeons where they catch a cold and have to listen to the poetic but sad music played for a depressive Austrian Empress.

Monday is reaaally ugly. What nobody knows is that he also is an enchanted prince. The ugly spell was cast upon him because he used to be selfish and spoiled. Now he lives a solitary life in an abandoned farm high up in the mountains so nobody witnesses his nasty looks. His only joy is to sneak into town on – Saturdays.

Now when Tuesday wacks out and kidnaps Saturday (who wears a diaphanous nightgown and lip gloss) it is up to Monday to find and rescue her!

    Whaddya think?

  5. The week – an opera in seven acts

I strongly feel that this is going to be fabulous, guys. :)

  6. Impressive! :)

Is there a connection between Tuesday’s doing and “the fact that my cold gets worse”? Are you by any chance scantily clad and innocent?

Wednesday is in the middle of it all, but cannot divulge any information about the other days, as she itself harbors a ghastly secret no one must know! (But of course, Thursday knows – and uses this to keep Wednesday shut up to conceal his own – terrible, terrible – secret)

And Friday… well, everybody just loves Friday. I mean, I’d be very glad if Friday was here ;)
