We need music.

Lots of music.

That’s why I got a Cowon iAudio D2, nicknamed Mini-Moo, with lots of space for music.

Apart from its cute name (come on, if “cow-on” isn’t cute, lolcats aren’t either) it has nice features like

  • small and lightweight
  • big display (Martin called it telly when I showed him Mini-Moo)
  • touchscreen designed for lasting user sanity
  • 16G flash storage
  • plays mp3, ogg, flac, wav and ape
  • SD[HC] slot
  • cooperates with Linux and my music files directory structure
  • FM Tuner

I’ve filled it with 8G of music so far and am proud to announce that neither Griff and Nightwish nor Julien Barbances and Agonoize annihilate when put on the same device. Music seems to be far more tolerant than most people, there is a lesson to be learned from it.
