This was a short week (as Tuesday was a National Holiday). My recent work is nice, as there’s a lot of funny and interesting stuff to do with Asterisk (including recording silly automatic responses). On the other side: A colleague of mine has experienced health problems due to gastric ulcer today, I hope he gets better soon.
Re-watched Frida earlier – I like this movie (starring Salma Hayek) very much as it is nothing so much as a biography, expressed in the phantastic pictures of the artist coming to life during the movie. How much truth there is in the details mentioned about Frida Kahlo‘s political and private life I don’t know and can only trust the on-line ressources available to be accurate to some degree.
Well, as for my personal demands: I don’t need the absolute proofs that the film’s details are true. Is there a conclusion to be drawn from the story of her life? Do never give up, perhaps. And: find the good in every situation.
Also, a little Tequila now and then has never done any harm.
