WGT 2012

Why is the WGT always gone? It feel like we just got there and I am back already. But we were not lazy:

On Thursday, after checking in at the hotel (24th floor, no less) we went to Blaue Stunde at the meadow behind Parkschlösschen (music and a candlelit dance floor beneath the stars)

On Friday morning we had a nice breakfast,  then returned to the hotel to prepare for the Viktorianisches Picknick: walking around in my CLWTF with amazing weather, a nice glass of Absinthe, and phantastic outfits to look at :)
Afterwards we changed into concert garb and went to Clan of Xymox and Project Pitchfork at the Agra.

On Saturday we tried to attend a reading by Christian von Aster, but did not get seats. So we went to the Heidnisches Dorf instead, bought some things, and rested with a cup of tea and a Shisha. Afterwards we saw EWIG at the Kohlrabizirkus (or so they say..) and, at returning to the city centre, ran into Astrid and Mike and decided to have dinner together.
We tried to get into Felsenkeller, but the place proved to be a veritable sweatbath. The dark-romantic dance event at a location in the city centre turned into a success however.

On Sunday the remains of the Army of Decadence gathered for a reunion of WTFkoko at Ring-Cafe, where we had amazing brunch. Due to the hot weather the division soon dispersed, donned civil camouflage and regathered at an Agra market stall selling punch. I think I even bought something from one of the traders at Agra, but the details remain a bit hazy.

On Monday we had a nice Absinthe breakfast, then went for a leisurely walk at Voelkerschlachtdenkmal.
Aterwards we changed into concert garb, thus seeing Arkona at the Felsenkeller worked this time. We tried to get seats for Irfan at the Centraltheater, but due to lack of free seats we ended having a drink near Thomaskirche and going to Blaue Stunde afterwards. Trying to dance at Darkflower, a local club, proved to be musically challenging, so we went home soon.

On Tuesday we packed, then met up with the others at Puschkin for brunch and general blue-ness. We had some time left until our train departed, so we spent some restful hours in a park reading and dozing.
