Notes :
MBO Schmidt & Niederleitner GmbH & Co. KG, a german manufacturer for
measuring systems and small electronic items, like calculators also tried
to get their share of the videogame market.
The MBO I has a nice look. It has two metal plates and
black buttons (thank god) and a very big reset button (like the
Palladium). It has a springy protection lid for the cartridge slot. It
uses the same type of joysticks like the Palladium. According to the
manual it is capable to display 4 colors: green, white, yellow and blue.
On the box is a game mentioned that makes use of a lightgun therefor I
suggest, that the MBO I is capable to handle a lightgun.
All the games are GI games (which means chipsets
sold by General Instruments in the 1970s).
In these chipsets were "ready to run" games and pong manufacturers had almost only to put
these chipsets into their system cases to make them work !
