Shape the world: why should a cd be round : it is time to change an old paradigm.
What the heck is a Shape CD ?
A Shape CD doesn't look like any usual CD. The form of a CD is round, but not of Shape CD's. You can give a Shape CD every form. There are nearly no limits, but there should be at least three points that reach the edge of a normal CD. The reason is clear, because otherwise you would have problems with fitting the Shape CD into the CD player's slot. The only problem exists with car CD-players and CD-changers. It is dangerous to put a shape CD into one of the two mentioned players, because it could damage the players, or could get stucked.

When did the first shape CD appear ?
The first shape CD came out on 1 st April of 1995. It was called Shape Dance and contained the songs "Circular saw opener", " It' a fine day ", "El caos tremendos" & "Midex" which were mixed by Axel Wilhelm, Mario Koss and Knut Bögel at Sample Temple Studio Berlin. The form of the worldwide first shape CD was a circula saw blade and that's the reason wha the first song was called circular saw opener, and when you listen to it you will hear a circula saw.
